JOCON is an independent consulting practice founded in 2004. I am Beat Johner, its founder and the person you work with directly.

My approach draws on more than 30 years of professional experience, combining three distinct perspectives: business leadership, internal organizational and talent development, and external consulting.

I work closely with you to understand your situation, clarify your objectives, and develop practical solutions that fit your organization and the people who will use them.

Sharing knowledge is central to my approach. I want your people to understand the methods and tools we use, gain confidence in applying them, and become increasingly self-sufficient. You decide what to take forward independently and where further support would be helpful.

I handle most assignments personally and work with clients in Switzerland and internationally. When a project requires additional expertise, capacity, or local knowledge, I can draw on an established global network of experienced consultants.

Experience & Background

Over the course of my career, I have held senior leadership and management roles, including leading a consulting business unit with full P&L responsibility, managing consulting teams, and heading internal organizational and talent development functions.

I have also experienced organizational restructurings and periods of significant business uncertainty firsthand. These experiences have shaped my understanding of the pressures leaders can face, the realities employees may encounter, and the importance of finding solutions that work in practice.
